1. Acceptance and Scope
These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Anthony Michael Rimac Jr. and any pages that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Website"). The Website is operated by Anthony Michael Rimac Jr. ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Website, and by selecting any checkbox or submitting any form that expressly references these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or submit information through it.
These Terms govern use of the public Website only. They do not govern psychotherapy, assessment, consultation, coaching, telehealth, or other professional services provided through an established professional relationship. Professional services are governed by separate informed-consent documents, practice policies, fee agreements, our Notice of Privacy Practices when applicable, and applicable law.
2. Website Operator, Clinical Practice, and Professional Status
The Website is operated by Anthony Michael Rimac Jr. Clinical services described on the Website are offered through Joe Latuga Psychotherapy & Coaching, where applicable, and only in accordance with the professional status, registration or license, employment, and supervision disclosures shown on the Website.
Anthony Michael Rimac Jr. is an Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #164549) and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #23388), and is supervised by Joseph Latuga, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #127359).
The availability of the Website in a particular location does not mean that professional services are available or may legally be provided in that location. Services are offered only when legally authorized and after the parties complete the required intake and consent process.
3. No Therapist-Client Relationship
Viewing the Website, reading or downloading its content, submitting a contact form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, or otherwise communicating through the Website does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, physician-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
A therapist-client relationship is established only after the clinician or practice affirmatively agrees to provide services and the parties complete all required intake, informed-consent, and administrative steps. We are not obligated to accept any person as a client, respond within a particular period, or provide services because an inquiry was submitted.
Do not rely on a Website communication as confirmation that an appointment has been scheduled, that services have been accepted, or that a professional relationship exists.
4. Informational Purposes Only - Not Clinical Advice
The Website provides general educational and informational material. Website content is not individualized mental-health, medical, legal, crisis, diagnostic, or treatment advice and is not a substitute for an evaluation or care from an appropriately qualified professional who understands your circumstances.
Although we try to keep Website information accurate and current, mental-health information, professional requirements, availability, fees, and services may change. We do not guarantee that every statement is complete, current, or appropriate for every person. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional care because of information found on the Website.
5. Emergencies and Crisis Communications
The Website, contact form, email addresses, telephone numbers, voicemail, and other Website-linked communication methods are not emergency or crisis services and are not monitored continuously.
If you or another person may be in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, you may call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not use the Website or its contact form to request urgent assistance.
6. Contact Form and Electronic Communications
The Website contact form is intended only for general inquiries, such as asking about services, availability, fees, or scheduling an initial consultation. It is not a secure client portal and is not intended for detailed clinical, medical, or other sensitive information.
Do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, medications, insurance information, payment-card information, treatment records, trauma histories, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through the general contact form. Provide only the minimum information reasonably necessary for us to respond.
By submitting your email address or telephone number, you authorize us to contact you in response to your inquiry using the contact method you provided. This authorization is limited to responding to the inquiry and does not constitute consent to unrelated marketing. Standard carrier charges may apply to telephone or SMS communications.
Electronic communications can be delayed, misdirected, intercepted, accessed by others who use your device or account, or exposed through notifications. We cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of ordinary email, SMS, voicemail, or public Website forms. Existing clients should use the communication method designated by the practice, such as SimplePractice, and follow any separate electronic-communications consent.
Information submitted through the Website is handled as described in our Website Privacy Policy. If you become a client, clinical records and protected health information may also be governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and other applicable confidentiality laws.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Subject to applicable jurisdictional and venue rules, disputes concerning only the use of the public Website may be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
Disputes concerning professional services, clinical care, privacy rights, payment obligations, or an established therapist-client relationship are governed by the applicable clinical agreements, privacy notices, professional rules, and law rather than solely by these Website Terms. Nothing in this section requires arbitration or waives a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
16. Severability; No Waiver; Entire Website Agreement
If a court finds a provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.
Together with the Website Privacy Policy and any notices expressly incorporated by reference, these Terms constitute the entire agreement concerning use of the public Website. They do not replace or amend clinical informed-consent documents, fee agreements, communication consents, or the Notice of Privacy Practices.
